About the Role
Develop and implement social media strategies to raise awareness and support for post-war rehabilitation and reconstruction initiatives.
Create compelling content highlighting the impact of BBT's work in rebuilding communities and improving lives.
Curate engaging stories, photos, and videos that effectively communicate the challenges faced and progress achieved in post-war development efforts in Tigray.
Monitor social media trends and leverage emerging platforms to expand BBT's reach and engagement.
Manage social media accounts dedicated to showcasing the organization's projects, events, and success stories.
Engage with followers, responding to inquiries, comments, and messages in a compassionate and informative manner.
Analyze social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
Collaborate with internal teams and field staff to gather information and insights for creating impactful social media content.
Stay updated on relevant post-war rehabilitation and reconstruction developments, local and global, to provide accurate and timely information to followers.
Coordinate with fundraising and communication teams to align social media efforts with overall organizational objectives.
Requirements
In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content.
Strong analytical skills to track and measure campaign performance.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple social media accounts simultaneously.
Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.
