Our History & Values
BBT was founded in 2022 by a group of concerned diaspora Tigrayans who sought to formally organize, so that they can effectively contribute to reviving Tigray through the implementation of targeted innovative and transformative projects.
BBT’s organizing principles are to: Rebuild, Heal and Remember. Each of its projects will be formulated, planned, organized, and implemented under each of these program pillars, whilst continuing to uphold the core values of BBT of:

Mission
BBT is committed to help rebuild Tigray one stone at a time, restore Tigrayans one person at a time, and make Tigray economically strong, politically influential and able to contribute to the peace and stability of the region.
Vision
BBT aims to advance and disseminate knowledge about the unprecedented genocide against Tigrayans; preserve the memory of those who suffered and invest in national healing; and, make a concerted effort to rebuild Tigray’s economy, infrastructure and services to a level where Tigray can remember, heal, and thrive.
